We have had another lovely week in school with the children working hard, some fantastic feedback on our ‘God and the Big Bang’ trip and a buzz as the year 3 and 4 children prepare for their adventure at the Pioneer Centre.  As staff we got an opportunity this week to review writing across the school.  It was such a valuable experience as we all got to see how the children’s vocabulary, their ideas and the ways in which they write their ideas develop through the school.  It is wonderful to see how the children develop their ideas and the opportunities that the teachers give the children to allow them to develop their creative flair.     After half term the school we will be looking forward to seeing you at our parent consultations and we will once again be sending out parent questionnaires to gain your opinions on school matters.  This year we are planning to make the move to an electronic format, in a bid to be more environmentally friendly.     Many thanks to all of you who were able to attend the E-safety and Vision sessions that were held last week.  This week you will notice a booklet coming home with your child on ‘digital parenting’ which will hopefully support you in the area of E-Safety.   I look forward to seeing you on Friday for our Celebration Assembly where we will once again ‘Reach for the Stars!’
