School Council

The School Council is a democratically elected body organised in a way to enable every child to have a turn as a councillor during their time with us. Representatives from each year group have a ‘Pupil Voice’. They gather concerns, ideas and areas that they want to work together to improve. Recently, they have chosen games and play equipment for breaktimes and worked together to design and oversee the installation of our new fantastic Trim Trail, funded by the PTFA.
They hold fundraising events each term, selling milk and cookies or toast and hot chocolate during a breaktime. Funds raised go into 'class pots' for each class to spend on their classroom or pay for treats and activities.
